Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Process
The Client may choose to cancel their project at any time by providing a clear written notice (e.g., email) to Emilda Solutions. All cancellation notices will be formally acknowledged by us within 2 business days. The financial responsibilities associated with cancellation are based on the project’s stage at the time the written notice is received.
2. Cancellation Before Commencement
If the cancellation notice is received before any project work (including research, discovery, or design) has commenced, the Client is entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid, minus any non-refundable discovery or setup fees that were explicitly agreed upon. Any eligible refund will be processed within 14 business days from the cancellation acknowledgment.
3.Cancellation After Commencement
- “Commencement” is defined as the start of any billable work, including research, strategy, design, or development. If the cancellation notice is received after project work has commenced, the Client shall be liable for a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total agreed-upon project cost.
- This fee covers the resources allocated, work already performed, and the loss of business from the project slot.
4. Cancellation at Closure State
If cancellation occurs after the project has been delivered for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), the Client is responsible for 90% of the total agreed-upon project cost.
- This reflects that the vast majority of the service has already been rendered.
